Lara’s Italian-American upbringing has shaped her expansive worldview and insatiable passion for travel. Memories of countless meals with family in Northern Italy inspired Lara to make the most of her dual citizenship and move to Italy to soak up La Dolce Vita. While attending culinary school in Florence, she was introduced to the intricacies of wine and thus began her decade-long detour working in the wine industry.
Over the years, wine has served as Lara’s passport to discovering new destinations all over the world. She believes that, just like wine, travel is a multi-sensory experience that should not only transport you, but leave you feeling deeply connected to a sense of place… a concept known as Terroir in the wine world.
Lara’s deep desire to share her expertise in immersive travel experiences led her to pursue travel full time, and just like that… Unpairalleled Travel Co. was born.
